Book of Common Prayer (page 502)
People and Celebrant
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. | Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your Name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. |
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. | Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. |
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. | Save us from the time of trial, and deliver us from evil. |
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen. | For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and for ever. Amen. |
Then may be said
Rest eternal grant to him, O Lord;
And let light perpetual shine upon him.
May his soul, and the souls of all the departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
The Celebrant dismisses the people with these words
